A few minutes of true things
It’s less a feature you use than a place you go for a bit.
-
From something you reached
An affirmation starts as a realization you actually arrived at in your own reflection — turned into a line you can come back to.
-
Read aloud, slowly
The soak reads your affirmations at a deliberately unhurried pace over a calm soundscape, looping until you close it.
-
Made for lying down
A sleep timer, a screen you don’t have to look at, and playback that keeps going with the phone locked.
-
Write your own
Add as many as you like and group them into categories that mean something to you. Edit or hide any of them at any time.
-
The voice is yours to pick
Affirmations are spoken in the companion voice you choose in Settings — the same one that listens during a session.
-
Nothing insists
There’s no daily affirmation notification and no streak. It sits on the home screen and waits to be wanted.
You can’t argue with your own conclusion
The difference between this and a wallpaper quote is where the sentence came from.
-
Not borrowed optimism
The problem with most affirmations is that they’re someone else’s. These come out of things you worked out yourself, in your own language.
-
Rooted in a real moment
Each one traces back to the reflection it came from — so it’s a reminder of something that happened, not a phrase you’re asked to believe.
-
Something to do, not read
A soak is a few minutes of sitting still with a handful of true things. Closer to a breathing space than to a list of quotes.
The things you tell yourself stay yours
What you’ve decided is true about you is nobody else’s business.
-
Kept on your iPhone
Your affirmations and categories are stored on your device, in storage the system keeps encrypted while your phone is locked.
-
Names never travel
Where text is sent to third-party AI and voice providers, every name in it — including yours — is swapped for a stand-in first.
-
Yours to delete
Remove any affirmation, or a whole category, whenever you like. Nothing is kept behind once it’s gone.
Questions about affirmations
Where do affirmations come from?
From things you actually reached in your own reflections — a truth you arrived at, turned into a line you can return to. They’re not generic phrases pulled off a shelf.
Can I write my own?
Yes, as many as you like, and you can group them into your own categories. Edit or hide any of them at any time.
What is a soak?
A full-screen space where your affirmations are read aloud slowly over a calm soundscape, looping until you close it. There’s a sleep timer, and it keeps playing with the screen locked.
Is it read in my voice?
Affirmations are spoken in the companion voice you pick in Settings. Echoes are the ones that come back in your own recorded voice.
