Common questions
How do I export or delete my data?
Open Settings → Your Data. You can export your journal text and details, or choose Delete All to remove everything from your device. You can also delete any single entry from its detail view.
How do I back up my journal?
In Settings → Your Data, create an encrypted backup (a .sjbackup file) protected by a password you choose. We never see the password and never receive the backup — keep it somewhere safe.
How do I keep everything fully on-device?
Go to Settings → Privacy → Cloud Reflection and turn it off. Reflection then runs entirely on your iPhone, and no journal text is sent anywhere.
I found a bug or have feedback
We’d genuinely like to hear it. Email us with what happened (and your iPhone model and iOS version if it’s a bug) and we’ll look into it.
Is my journaling private?
Your audio never leaves your device, there’s no account, and nothing is sold or used to train AI models. See the privacy policy for the full detail.
