Playback uses the recording already on your iPhone. Your audio is never uploaded to hear an echo — or for any other reason.

Nothing is published
There’s no feed, no sharing, no “share your echo” button. This is a private thing that happens on one device.

Delete an entry and its echoes go with it — from the list, from Play all, from everywhere.

What is an Echo?
A sentence you once said that’s worth hearing again. Echoes are drawn from your own entries — never written for you — and come back later, sometimes in your own recorded voice.
How does it decide what to keep?
It looks for the lines that carry weight: a realization, a decision, something you said plainly for the first time. You can add, edit, or remove echoes on any entry yourself.
Can I hear them all at once?
Yes — “Play all” plays your echoes back to back, each anchored to the moment in the recording it came from, so you can sit with a stretch of your own words.
Can I stop one coming back?
Hide any echo and it won’t surface again. Mark the entry sensitive and nothing from it will be raised unless you bring it up first.
